Visa and Requirements
- A valid Class C or CE driving licence (from Türkiye).
- Official Employment Contract (Arbeitsvertrag): A full-time offer from a logistics company based in Germany.
- Professional Experience: SGK records or references from previous employers.
- National work visa application through the consulate.
Driving Licence Recognition (Umschreibung)
To convert a Turkish driving licence into a German one, you usually need to take both the theoretical (through TÜV) and practical (driving) exams. Enrolling in a German driving school (Fahrschule) is mandatory.
Code 95 (BKrFQG) Certificate
To be able to carry out commercial freight transport in Germany and within all EU borders, it is a legal requirement to have "Code 95" on the back of your driving licence.
- Training (Weiterbildung): 35 hours (5x7) of theoretical training that must be renewed every 5 years.
