Overview

To help keep your sessions running smoothly, here’s how to handle missed appointments and manage time zone differences.

    Student No-Show Protocol

If a student doesn’t show up for a scheduled session, follow these steps:

    • Wait for a Grace Period: Allow a short grace period (e.g., 10-15 minutes) in case of delays. After 15 mins the meeting will be finished and Edur does not have to wait.
    • Reach Out to the Student: Send a quick message to check if they’re still available or need to reschedule.
    • Report the No-Show: If the student doesn’t respond, report the no-show through Toedur’s support feature for documentation.
    • Follow Up: Consider offering a follow-up option if you’re willing to reschedule, maintaining flexibility and goodwill.
    • Student loses the free meeting right if no-show happened: When students want to meet with Edur as a first meeting, so it is free of charge they can directly choose the meeting time slot from Edurs time availability. In case they don't show up, then Students need to send a meeting request to respective Edur. At that point Edur has a right to decline or approve this first meeting request under no charge. If as an Edur, it is always worth meeting as much with students to show your good attitude to them.

    Managing Time Zone Differences

To avoid scheduling issues across time zones, use these tips:

    • Set Your Default Time Zone: Set Your Default Time Zone: Confirm that your Toedur account displays your correct time zone in the settings.
    • Communicate Time Zones Clearly: Confirm the session time in both your and the student’s time zones to avoid misunderstandings.
    • Use Calendar Tools: Syncing with Google Calendar or a time zone converter can help ensure both parties have the correct time for the session.
