Overview
Your ratings play a crucial role in your visibility and success on the platform. By actively working to improve your ratings, you can attract more students and provide a better experience for those you mentor.
How does the rating system work?
The Toedur platform allows students to rate mentors after each session. Ratings are given on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, and students have the option to leave a written review. These ratings are displayed on your profile, and a higher rating increases your chances of being recommended to other students.
How should I handle negative reviews in a constructive way?
- Provide Value in Every Session: Ensure that each session delivers value by being prepared, attentive, and responsive to your student's needs. Make the most of your expertise to guide them effectively.
- Be Responsive and Communicative: Be prompt in your responses to student inquiries and provide clear communication throughout your sessions. Students appreciate mentors who are approachable and available when needed.
- Seek Feedback Regularly: Ask for feedback from students at the end of each session. This shows that you are invested in improving and can help identify areas for growth.
- Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a positive and supportive environment for your students. When students feel comfortable and encouraged, they are more likely to leave positive reviews.
- Follow Up on Previous Sessions: If you notice students struggling with particular concepts or tasks, follow up with them in subsequent sessions to offer further guidance. Consistent improvement and attention to their development will help boost their satisfaction.
- Be Professional and Respectful: Always maintain a professional and respectful attitude, regardless of the situation. A positive attitude can go a long way in building rapport with students and improving your ratings.
