Overview

Effective feedback management can enhance your credibility and ensure continuous improvement.

How can I manage feedback from students effectively?

    • Navigating to Feedback: Log in to your mentor dashboard and go to the Settings menu. Select Feedback & Reviews to view your ratings.
    • Viewing Recent and Full Review Lists: In the Feedback & Reviews section, you can view a list of recent reviews at the top, with the option to scroll down for a complete list of all past reviews. This layout allows you to see recent student feedback as well as track your ratings over time.
    • Responding to Reviews: Each review entry provides an option to respond directly. For positive reviews, take a moment to thank students for their feedback, which can reinforce trust and appreciation. For any constructive or critical reviews, respond in a professional manner, addressing concerns with a commitment to improvement.

How do I encourage students to leave reviews?

    • Ask at the Right Time: After a successful session, encourage students to share their experience. A simple prompt like, “I’d appreciate it if you could leave a review,” can go a long way.
    • Explain the Importance: Let students know that their feedback helps you improve and supports other students in making informed decisions.

How should I handle negative reviews in a constructive way?

    • Stay Calm and Professional: Negative reviews can be tough, but it's crucial to remain calm and professional. Address the issue respectfully and acknowledge the student's concerns.
    • Learn from It: Use negative feedback as an opportunity to learn and improve your mentoring methods. If there’s something you can do better, take it as a chance for personal growth.
    • Offer a Solution: If a student experienced a specific issue, offer a solution or an opportunity for a follow-up session to address the matter.
