Overview

Joining the Toedur community as an Edur is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of fellow students. The onboarding journey is designed to equip Edurs with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in their roles. Here’s what candidates can expect during this process.

    Document Preparation

Before starting the onboarding journey, candidates need to prepare several important documents. This preparation ensures a smooth transition into their new role. Here’s a list of the required documents:

    • Proof of Enrollment: A document that confirms the candidate’s current enrollment at their university, ensuring they meet the educational requirements.
    • Language Proficiency Certification: Any certifications that demonstrate the candidate's language skills, necessary for effective communication with students.
    • Professional Photo: A clear, professional photo that adheres to the platform's guidelines (plain background, face visible, no accessories).
    • Identity Verification: Documents that verify the candidate’s identity, which may include a government-issued ID or passport.

Once these documents are collected, candidates should ensure they are uploaded in the required formats during the onboarding process.

    Interview Process

The interview process is a crucial step in the onboarding journey, allowing the Toedur team to assess candidates' suitability for the Edur role. Here’s an overview of what candidates can expect during the interview:

    • Scheduling the Interview: Candidates will select a date and time that suits their availability, ensuring flexibility in the process.
    • Interview Format: The interview will be conducted via video call.
    • Evaluation Criteria: Candidates will be evaluated based on their motivation, communication skills, and readiness to support fellow students. The interview will also assess how candidates can leverage their experiences to provide guidance effectively.

After the interview, candidates will receive feedback regarding their application status, allowing them to understand the next steps in their onboarding journey.

Training Batch Requirements (MVP Kleve 2.0)

Once candidates are confirmed as Edurs, they will need to participate in a training program to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge. Here are the requirements and expectations for the training batches:

    • Batch Selection: Edurs must select their preferred training batch based on available dates and time slots. This flexibility allows them to choose a schedule that works best for them.
    • Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial during the training sessions. Edurs are expected to actively participate in discussions and activities to maximize their learning experience.
    • Pre-Training Preparation: Candidates should review any pre-training materials provided by Toedur to familiarize themselves with the platform, resources, and the mentorship process.

Post-Training Assessment: After completing the training, Edurs may undergo a brief assessment to ensure they have understood the key concepts and are prepared to support students effectively.
